Delays... A Longer Overdue Post

What an amazing last couple of weeks!! It's also been so super busy, which is why I haven't posted. The second weekend in February I was in Paris with Hannah, my sister. Hannah and I had an incredible time together. It was also great seeing more of Paris.

I then traveled to Holmsted Manor. It's a YWAM base in Sussex, where my parents met. We were there for the YWAM England and Wales DTS gathering. It was a lot of fun and very intense on many levels. We learnt a lot about ourselves there.

Last week we had deliverance week, which went very differently, and a lot more positively, than I had expected. We looked a lot at breaking the walls we've built around ourselves and the ancestral curses, etc. During this week my phone also broke, so I was without a phone for over a week (I just got an early upgrade today). I learnt so much about not having my safely mechanism in my pocket all the time. Trust me, when you're used to something, and then it breaks, you feel so weird without it!

I'll try to write a longer post over the next couple of days!!

Church

Christ Church, London
The end of another week. Its been lovely weather today, and for that, I've been so grateful. Yesterday I had a sore throat and I didn't want to make it worse. Today I wanted to go to church with the DTS, and from there to my own service on the other side of the city. For the last six months I've been going to an incredible church near Blackfriars Station (near St. Paul's Cathedral). It's called Christ Church, London. When I first arrived I had no idea what church I should go to and so I went to quite a few but couldn't find a church family to join due to a number of reasons. Then I found out that a friend had heard about Christ Church from another of our friends, so one rainy Sunday in July 2014 we went together to the afternoon service that Christ Church runs. I knew, within forty minutes, that I'd found my church and I remember messaging my mum to let her know. I've been going on and off ever since. I've loved it because I've been able to rest in the mornings and go into the city for church in the afternoons.
